bike station recently visited hawaii to meet with the Rail project team. I’m not sure if they’ve been awarded a contract yet but their goals are nothing short of spectacular: the best rail project in the nation. i’m not sure what that means but encouraging more cyclists to take to the streets is a good thing. giving them a place to shower and store their bikes is a great thing.

tokyo has found some great alternatives to serve large volumes of cyclists with the subterranean bicycle parking towers. at $67m this is not viable for us, but we also don’t have 700,000 people cycling to work everyday.
